Description

A three-storey Victorian Italianate palazzo-style bank executed in a combination of red-brick and sandstone, c.1860. Enriched with restrained classical detailing, giving a strong sense of order to the elevation. The building is an important component of the north side of The Diamond. This bank closed in early 2023 and subsequently the building is now vacant. There are some signs of decay to the stonework and window frames, but this is currently only minor. With its central location, this building offers a range of reuse oppurtunities.
