Exterior Description And Setting

A masonry bridge of rubble and boulder construction carrying a road over a small stream. It consists of two segmental arches with a central cut-water abutting each face, and rough-cut stone copings to parapets which rise slightly in height toward the centre of the span. SETTING: It stands in a very rural location in open countryside, with verdant trees and bushes in immediate proximity to it.
