Exterior Description And Setting

A single arched hump-backed bridge over a stream, built of rubble with a crude projecting string course at carriageway level above the segmental arch, and cement copings to the parapets which have angled returns at the extremities. At the north end on the east side there is a later segmental brick arched opening at road level, presumably for the drain-off of surface water. SETTING: The bridge stands at the centre of a small hamlet in a rural area.
