Exterior Description And Setting

A three semi-circular arch stone bridge. The arches spring from well built stone footings which are topped with a pronounced deep cut stone, chamfered string course. The footings project upstream and downstream to form rounded cutwaters. The string course continues and is finished with a flat top. The voissoirs are precisely cut approximately 600 by 350mm and support random rubble walls of large and small stones. The parapet is finished with a good stone coping. Each arch is approximately 5 metres span, rock width 6 metres and the overall length 12 metres.
