Exterior Description And Setting


A single-storey building in rustic brick with a Portland stone plinth and string course designed in Neo-Georgian style with round arched openings and slated hipped roofs. Some original glazing bars retained but most removed. The building stands in the main street of the town, directly onto the pavement, abutted on the left by a terrace of two-storey houses with shops, and on the right by its own single-storey flat-roofed post-2nd World War extension.
