Exterior Description And Setting

Plain two storey terrace house of post c.1920 with large windows to front. The property is situated on the south east side of Main Street, Greyabbey. Front facade and rear finished in rough cast render, gable in plain render. Pitched roof with Bangor blue slates and a brick chimney stack to the left gable. The front north west elevation is asymmetrical and has a modern timber and glazed door, with plain fanlight, to the right with a very large PVC window to the left. There is another similar window in the centre of the first floor. SW gable blank. Large metal gate attached to SW gable. To the rear is a large single storey lean to kitchen extension with modern PVC windows. Three narrow PVC windows to rear of main house.

A larger building is shown partly on this site on the 1834 OS Map. A photograph of c.1920 shows a rubble wall where this house now stands. This building is therefore post c.1920.
