Exterior Description And Setting


17th century remains of a circular stone tower of local schist, located north of the Senior House, shown in Neville's map of the siege period as a windmill, in Porter's map of 1799 as the 'old windmill', and in the O.S. Map of 1835 as a pigeon house. Brick-domed internally. Partial survey only carried out as protection by Scheduled Monuments legislation is considered to be more appropriate.
