Exterior Description And Setting

A five-span rubble whinstone road bridge carrying Church Street over the Faughan River to the south of Claudy. Double-recessed segmental arches with V - shaped cutwaters to piers which rise to arch spring level. The three central arches are over the river; outermost arches to NW and SE are flood arches. Parapet walls have been inappropriately rebuilt with un-coursed random rubble and concrete copings. The soffit of the NW floor arch has been cement rendered and there are numerous concrete repairs. It is not deemed to meet the criteria required to merit a full survey.
