Exterior Description And Setting


A small single-storey rubble stone dwelling with the remains of a pitched natural slate roof. The dwelling is associated with the adjacent mill to the south-west of Cumber Bridge, Claudy. Although some features survive, there has been a substantial loss of its roof, windows and doors and the partial collapse of some sections.

Evaluation

Although some features survive, the substantial loss of its roof, windows and doors and the partial collapse of some sections compromises its interest. It is not deemed to meet the criteria required to merit a full survey. The house is in a state of decay and has lost much of its original fabric.
