Exterior Description And Setting


A former flax mill, now demolished and replaced with a modern split-level dwelling. The iron waterwheel and part of the west gable remains. The First Survey card records: A small rubble greystone building with brick dressings and slated roof. There is an iron mill wheel on the west gable. The bridge of similar material has roughly dressed voissurs to the semi-circular arch. Copings are of vertical stones rendered on top. River is the Cloghagh Burn. Date of visit: 16.05.1972
