Exterior Description And Setting


A former mid-nineteenth century two-storey house, now demolished and replaced by a modern bungalow. The First Survey card records: ‘Mid C19. A two-storey house with rendered walls and raised quoins. The roof is slated. Paired D/H windows with hood moulds flank an entrance recessed in a square-headed opening with similar dripstone. There is a single central window at 1st .F. level. 1st .F. windows are enclosed in moulded architraves. Probably re-faced. 40' frontage First appears on O.S. map of 1859. Date of visit: 24th October 1969 ‘
