Exterior Description And Setting


A former three-storey mid-nineteenth century stucco commercial building located in the centre of Banbridge, now replaced with a modern building. The First Survey card records: ‘c.1860. 3 storey. Slated roof. Walls finished in lined stucco. Mouldings with floral ornament to paired windows and door at G.F. level. Part shopped. String course breaks 1ST F. fenestration. Cill course at 2nd F. level. 5 windows wide. Appears on OS map of 1861 U.A.H.S. Banbridge 1969 Date of visit: 17th September 1969‘
