Exterior Description And Setting


The buildings have been demolished and a modern shopping complex built in their place. The First Survey card records: '3/Sty terrace of 4 houses. Roof slated, gable ends. Chimneys rendered. Walls rendered, lined & painted. F/FL sill course. 8 2nd/FL & 8 F/FL windows, 4 D/H, horizon. astrags, remainder recent. Gr/FL has window - door - window - door - window - door - window - door. Windows as above but with painted facing. Doorways have pilaster jambs, frieze lintel & cornice hood, all in painted stone. Doors panelled, glazed & panelled & flush panel. Low front boundary wall. Condition fair. Frontage about 82 ft. Suggest later 19c. Date of visit: 25/7/73'
