Exterior Description And Setting


The house has been demolished and a new housing development erected on the site. The First Survey card records: 'A single storey bungalow of immediate post-war date, with large windows, a feature chimney in stone, and stone quoins to the front entrance recess, but extended to one end with a link block leading to a storey and a half addition. designed for Douglas Wilson by the architect Granville Smyth, 1950. Featured in an article on Ulster architecture in 1951 published by R. J. McKinstry in Architects Journal, 31 May, 1951.'
