Evaluation

A two-storey red-brick range of former railway station, now a detached house. Extensively altered in the conversion to a house, including an extension added to the east end. The original building is all but indiscernible; its character and interest have been compromised. While of local interest, it is not among the best examples of the type and the extensive alterations have reduced its architectural and historic interest.
