Exterior Description And Setting


A King George post-box made of cast iron set in the low rubble stone boundary wall of a church hall. Post-box inscribed 'GR' with a raised crown, and 'T. Allen & Co. London'. Post-box identification number not clearly visible above lower frame of panel. SETTING: The wall in which the post-box is set stands facing onto a public road in a rural area.
