Exterior Description And Setting


The remains of a completely derelict cottage so ruinous and overgrown as to be virtually featureless. It was described in the first survey in 1972 as "Single storey cottage. Roof thatched. Gable ends. Walls roughcast on rubble, whitened. Central projecting gabled porch: simple barges and slated roof. Three double-hung windows: horizontal astragals. Panelled door in porch between 1st and 2nd windows. Hedge encloses front garden. Adjacent to left-hand side are rubble outbuildings. Condition poorish. Front about 60 feet."
