Historical Information

Precise date of buildings not recorded but they are shown on the OS map of 1834 and may be presumed to date from the early 19th century. The Ordnance Survey Memoirs in 1835 recorded that "a few comfortable cottages have been lately built by Mr Hardy adjoining his own house": Hardy's own house was Loughgall House which stands immediately to the west of this terrace.
