Exterior Description And Setting

Demolished to make way for a petrol filling station. Described in the first survey in 1971 as "A rectangular building built of squared blackstone rubble with sandstone surrounds to lancet windows glazed with lattice panes. One side is lighted by three windows, the other by two; the remaining space is occupied by a gabled entrance porch. The road gable contains a group of three lancets with continuous hood mould."

Built in the 1840s or 1850s as a Methodist church; partially demolished in 1989 when converted to a petrol filling station, and the remainder demolished in 1995. References – Primary Sources 1.
