Exterior Description And Setting

A small skewed semicircular arch carries a single-lane road over a small stream. It is of random rubble construction, with split random rubble voussoirs. The parapets have been rebuilt in the recent past and now have 'crenellated' copings. The abutments have been footed with concrete and the inside face of the arch gunited.

A bridge is shown here on the 1834 OS 6" map. It is explicitly captioned 'Killycarnan Br' on the 1857 and subsequent editions. It is probably of early 19th century date. Primary sources: 1.
