Exterior Description And Setting

Small road bridge over the River Blackwater, just to the NW of the hamlet of Balloo. The bridge is constructed in snecked basalt rubble with a single, low, segmental arch with sandstone voussoirs. The low parapet has rough coping and is partly covered by greenery. The area around the bridge is wooded and the bridge is not readily visible from the road.
