Exterior Description And Setting

Random rubble built road bridge on the Florida Road, just N of the Saintfield c1.5 miles W of the hamlet of Balloo. The bridge spans the River Blackwater and has a single segmental arch which springs from a rock foundation (on N side at least). The arch has narrow voussoirs. Long abutments. Flat coping to parapets. Bridge partly covered in greenery. Gentle twist in road. The bridge appears to be in reasonably good condition.
