Exterior Description And Setting


Site, on the E side of Fountain Street, of a large modern style residential block of 1958, demolished 2000 with site now vacant. The building was described in the first survey of c.1992 as: A residential complex comprising of three long blocks of flats, flat roofed, with rustic brick end walls and windows arranged in long horizontal bands. Made memorable by the curved plan of the longest block which faces the main road.
