Exterior Description And Setting

Demolished to make way for new road. Described on the first survey card in 1969 as: 'Mid C.18 house of 3 tenaments. 2 storey with attics. Hipped slated roofs. Harled granite rubble with brick eaves cornice. D/H windows with g. b. Semi-octagonal 2-storey entrance porch with semi-circular headed windows. Entrances have semi-eliptical or segmental arched fanlights & sidelights (leaded g.b.). Well detailed interior to No 9. In early C.19 W & E Wings were sealed off to form nos 8 & 10, extension built to rear & porch added. 40' frontage.'
