Exterior Description And Setting


Built into the east side of a field bank (only vestiges of which now survive) immediately north of an agricultural outbuilding. Of random-rubble construction and beehive profile. Measures c.2.4m in basal diameter and stands to its full height of c.2.4m. There is a creep hole (with flat lintel head) on its east side, measuring 45cm wide by 60cm high. Although the bank has been partially eroded on its west face, the actual structure survives intact. Very overgrown.
