Historical Information

A building is shown on this site on the 1835 OS 6” map. The first survey card states that the building on this site was: “a two-storey house with single-storey shed. Roof slated and walls are rough-cast. Three first floor and two ground floor double-hung windows with vertical astragals and recent steel casements. Door is panelled and glazed. Plain facing round windows and double facing round door. Single-storey extension has square double hung windows with astragals and sheeted garage door. Condition of house fair and extension roof is poor”. There were no first survey slides. Primary Sources 1. First HMMB survey card dated 28th April 1970
