Exterior Description And Setting


A 2 storey vacant house. The entrance front is 3 bay wide with central square headed door and on either side a vertically proportioned window. Above there are two gabled dormers. To the side of the house low pitched lean-to extension with a modern proportioned window on the front side. The roof is slated, ½ hipped, with natural slates and having a central chimney stack. On the gable a vertically proportioned window over lean-to. On the rear two ground floor windows and directly over at first floor two vertically proportioned windows. The other gable has no openings. All windows and doors are boarded up. Walls are smooth rendered. The dwelling is sited on a laneway from the Glenshane Road and is on the west side of the grounds of the former rectory.
