Exterior Description And Setting


Single storey gate lodge in whinstone with red brick trims. Natural slate roof, pyramidal with centrally placed two pot chimney. Front façade facing north has two windows (modern timber with top opening light) which flank a panelled entrance door. Single window to rear of east façade overlooking road. Small kitchen return on south façade. No window to north. Entrance piers (devoid of gates) in modelled red brick to N. Brick matching Troy Hall (HB01/25/009). Sandstone coping to piers. String course of terracotta detailing near head.

Historical Information
