Exterior Description And Setting

A domestic ice house constructed of handmade brickwork with a hemispherical brick-vaulted dome on a circular plan. Entrance faces north; rectangular open doorway. Exterior of vault covered with cement render, much spalled. SETTING: The ice house stands in the south-east corner of a field to the north of Glendaragh house in a very rural location, with an open aspect to the main road to the north.
