Historical Information

Probably erected around the time outbuildings were extended and dwelling house erected c1890s. Included in the listing of adjacent Ballyarnet (HB01/27/018) until 1991when it was delisted and repaired under a NIHE grant aided repair scheme. Slide of building from 1990 shows: openings largely as at present but with 12 pane sliding sashes in the first floor windows, a tripartite window to the living room (12 pane sash with 4 pane side lights). Internally building badly decayed but window linings and original fireplaces remained.
