Exterior Description And Setting

A partly intact lime kiln in south-west corner of field on west side of lane. Of dry-built rounded granite fieldstones. Single pot is c.1.8m in diameter, but infilled. Collapsed to east and north, but stands 2.5m high at south and west. Draw hole which is defined by a large rounded granite lintel, faces to north. Revetments on either side are of large rounded granite field boulders. Earthen ramp to east side may be the result of recent dumping.
