Exterior Description And Setting


A flat roofed house in a modern style laid out on a split level; constructed of concrete bricks with concrete cills, with metal pivoting windows above large timber fixed lights, tongued and grooved vertical weather boarding, plain plywood panels, asphalt roof, on a cantilevered concrete slab to the first floor. Setting: the house stands on an elevated site set back from the main road with distant views over the town. It is flanked on each side by two houses of similar date and style but which have been altered inappropriately or display impurities of style.
