Exterior Description And Setting


A two-storey gabled building of red brick to the ground floor and rendered finish above, designed in a form of Gothic style with pointed arched openings to openings on the entrance front. Later single-storey projecting from entrance front, with flat roof. Ledged timber front door and original-looking timber frames and glazing bars to entrance front windows but windows modernised to rear. Setting: the building stands facing a main road within the built-up area of the village, with early 20th century houses to each side.
