Exterior Description And Setting


A single-arched bridge over the Glenoe water, built of random rubble greystone with rough voussoirs of basalt and limestone; basalt rock copings to parapets; rubble stone vault; projecting concrete plinth to each abutment; large cast iron tie rods to each side of arch on each face; later buttress to west side of north face. Setting: the bridge is situated at the south end of the village in rural location with trees and bushes in close proximity.
