Exterior Description And Setting


A two-storey building in red brick with a Tudor-arched porch in stone containing a recessed doorway with Art Nouveau leaded glazing to the fanlight. Two-storey canted bays to each side of porch, with carriage gateway to the left hand side leading to the rear, containing original ledged timber gates of segmental profile. Setting: the building stands in the main street of the town set back slightly from the pavement, with a paved area in front of it, and abutted on each side by gabled shop premises.
