Exterior Description And Setting

A three-storey building in rustic brick with a stone plinth, five windows wide, its three central windows projecting forward below a raking parapet. Designed in a form of Neo-Georgian style with rectangular timber sliding sash windows, vertically hung, 8 over 8, with horns, to the upper floors. Circular windows to the outer bays of the top floor. The building stands in part of the main street of the town directly onto the road and abutted each side by one and two-storey commercial premises.
