Exterior Description And Setting


A gabled church with a two-storey return to one side at the rear, with round headed windows to the main church building. It stands at a cross-roads in the countryside at a lower level than the road, bounded by a basalt wall with a graveyard alongside it. Described in the first survey in 1970 as 'An L-shaped building with pebble-dashed walls, rendered dressings and circular arched openings. The graveyard contains mostly 20th century memorials.'
