Exterior Description And Setting

Three storey grammar school. Main portion composed of three red brick gables facing Irish Green Street with white rendered side walls. Segmental head windows with light ‘Festival of Britain’ type entrance canopies over doors on thin angling metal poles. Lower yellow/orange brick buildings surrounding school picking up some details of the original but with much less subtlty. Present extension works to south east same height as original building.
