Exterior Description And Setting

Much altered single storey school. A gabled rectangular building with modern flat-roofed addition along one side. Walls cement rendered and windows/doors replaced. Several plaques to end gable: “1832” “1909” “Fleming Fulton School Ballinran 1976” “Holy Bible Proverbs Chap.22 V.8, Rev. J. F. Close, Rector of Kilkeel, Revd. William Boyle Curate AD. 1832.”
