Exterior Description And Setting

South facing two-storey/ four- bay farmhouse with outbuildings, all now used as farm outbuildings. Slated roof, hipped to left end, gabled to right with tile coping. Single cement rendered chimney on party wall between third and fourth bay (from left). No rain water goods. Walls are random rubble granite, rendered and painted. South elevation has front door (six panels) within projecting slated and gabled porch. Door into ground floor first bay, and modern metal sliding door into second bay. All surviving windows are 3/3 margin-paned sliding sashes. On ground floors, window survives only on third and on fourth bays at right. First floor has four windows. Fourth bay may be a later addition as the distance between third and fourth bay is greater than between the others.
