Exterior Description And Setting

A two-storey/ two-bay farmhouse set back from the road and facing east. Natural slate gable roof and central rendered chimney. The walls are also rendered with cement. The front door is sheeted with metal and is at the left end of façade. There are two window openings to ground floor and two above. However, only one actual window remains complete or not boarded up: it is on first floor left and is 1/1 sliding sash with margin panes. There are no windows to the rear or gable elevations. A one-storey/ one-bay building abuts its left gable. It has a coped corrugated metal gable roof, chimney to its left gable and single metal framed window to right of door on facade.

Evaluation

The temporal relationship between the two buildings is unclear, but the smaller is probably a later addition or a substantial refurbishment of an existing outbuilding. The outward appearance of the two-storey building has been altered to an extent where listing is not warranted.
