This building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Only a Partial Survey was taken during the Second Survey as the building has been demolished. Site of long, linear multi-period country house commenced in the 1690s, but with many later extensions of the 18th and 19th centuries. Originally belonging to the MacDonnells and subsequently the McGildowny family, the building was demolished in the later 20th century.

This building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Only a Partial Survey was taken during the Second Survey as the building has been demolished. Site of long, linear multi-period country house whose core was of the 1690s, but with many later extensions of the 18th and 19th centuries. Originally belonging to the MacDonnells and subsequently the McGildowny family, building was demolished in the later 20th century.

General Comments


This is a D1 record. Partial survey only. Former large house which has now been demolished along with gate lodge and all former outbuildings. No trace remains. A D1 survey has been carried out as requested by NIEA as the building has been demolished.
